Social Doom is a turn-based card game that reflects patterns of behavior on social media platforms. Players take on the role of influencers competing for follower counts, navigating issues like content originality, backlash, and anxiety.

The game consists of two types of cards:
Post Cards simulate the process of publishing online content, using visual and text fragments.
Function Cards allow for interactions such as stealing content, spreading rumors, or protecting posts.

Each player manages two key resources: follower count and anxiety level. Mechanisms such as plagiarism risk, censorship, and public scrutiny introduce consequences for non-original behavior.

The game is designed with simple rules and fast-paced turns, combining humor and critique to simulate the unstable nature of online attention.
